Delete your Estiqamah account
In the app
- Open Estiqamah and tap the gear icon at the top of any page to open Settings.
- Scroll to the very bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account is deleted straight away.
Without the app
Email support@estiqamah.com from the email address you signed up with, with the subject Delete my account. We'll delete it within 7 days and reply to confirm.
What's deleted
- Your account: name, email address, username and password.
- Your record kept with your account: prayers, azkar, Qur'an progress and khatma, recitations, duaas, journal entries, history and settings.
- Your circle memberships and the juz you claimed. Circles you were the last member of are deleted too.
Deletion is permanent and can't be undone. Any copies in our hosting provider's routine backups are removed within 30 days. If you'd like to keep your record first, use Save a backup in Settings before deleting.
Uninstalling the app removes the copy on your phone, but it doesn't delete your account. Use one of the steps above for that.
